<h4>Health is wealth. By being physically fit, it can make a person look lean both inside and out.</h4>
<p>There is a lot a person can do such jogging or walking  in the morning, playing basketball or any other sport with friends but if a person wants to have muscles and look lean, the best thing to do will be to sign up and workout in a gym.</p>
<p><strong>Just like taking any medicine, one should first consult the doctor before undergoing any form of exercise.</strong></p>
<p>Physical exercise is beneficial because it helps maintain and improve ones health from a variety of diseases and premature death.  It also makes a person feel happier and increases ones self esteem preventing one from falling into depression or anxiety. It has also shown to make a person with an active lifestyle live longer than a person who doesn’t.</p>
<p>The best exercise plan should have cardiovascular and weight training exercises. This helps burn calories and increase the muscle to fat ratio that will increase ones metabolism and make one either gain or lose weight.</p>
<p>A person who has never worked out before should do it gradually. Doing it too much for the first time can make one pull a muscle or have an injury making it worse. Endurance will never be built in a day and doing it repeatedly will surely be good to the person.</p>
<p>Focusing on certain portion in the body can help make it improve. A good example is going to the gym and doing a workout more often in a specific area such as the abs can give one a chest pack.</p>
<p>But beauty is not only about having muscles which is what people can see. It is also about enhancing the beauty within.</p>
<h3>Here are some things one can do everyday to stay beautiful and healthy;</h3>
<p>Reading books and other reading material more often keeps the mind sharp just like working out keeps the body in shape.</p>
<p>Work no matter what kind it is produces stress. One can reduce this by taking the time out to do something special like lying in a hot tub, shopping or watching a movie. Studies have shown it is reliever and helps one from looking haggardly.</p>
<p>Pollution is something people cannot control given the size of the problem. When one goes out, it is best to put some form of protection such as beauty products that contain antioxidants that protect the skin from damage. There are also other beauty products available and choosing the right one with the help of a dermatologist can help the person.</p>
<p>Another way to stay healthy is to give up some vices. Most people smoke and drink. Smoking has been proven to cause lung cancer and other diseases as well complications for women giving birth. Excessive drinking has also shown to do the same.</p>
<p>For people who don’t smoke, it is best to stay away from people who do since studies have shown that nonsmokers are also at risk of developing cancer due to secondary smoke inhalation.</p>
<p>Lastly, it is best to always start the day with a positive outlook. Just as studies have shown that exercise makes a person feel happier, smiling produces the same effect. A smile can do a lot and it is contagious in a positive sense. It brightens the day of not only one but others as well.

Apricots contain Beta-carotene which helps to prevent radical damage and also helps to protect the eyes.  A single apricot contains 17 calories, 0 fat, and one gram of fiber.  You can eat them dried or soft.</p>
<p><strong>Mango</strong><br />
A medium sized mango packs 57 MG of vitamin C, which is nearly your entire daily dose.  This antioxidant will help prevent arthritis and also boost your immune system.</p>
<p><strong>Cantaloupe</strong><br />
Cantaloupes contain 117 GG of vitamin C, which is almost twice the recommended dose.  Half a melon contains 853 MG of potassium, which is nearly twice as much as a banana, which helps to lower blood pressure.  Half a melon contains 97 calories, 1 gram of fat, and 2 grams of fiber.</p>
<p><strong>Tomato</strong><br />
A tomato can help cut the risk of bladder, stomach, and colon cancers in half if you eat one daily.<br />
A tomaton contains 26 calories, 0 fat, and only 1 gram of fiber.</p>

<p>Onions<br />
An onion can help to protect against cancer.  A  cup of onions offers 61 calories, 0 fat, and 3 grams of fiber.</p>
<p><strong>Broccoli</strong><br />
Broccoli can help protect against breast cancer, and it also contains a lot of vitamin C and beta- carotene.  One cup of chopped broccoli contains 25 calories, 0 fat, and 3 grams of fiber.</p>
<p><strong>Spinach</strong><br />
Spinach contains carotenoids that can help fend off macular degeneration, which is a major cause of blindness in older people.  One cup contains 7 calories, 0 fat, and 1 gram of fiber.</p>

<p><strong>Peanuts</strong><br />
Peanuts and other nuts can lower your risk of heart disease by 20 percent.  One ounce contains 166 calories, 14 grams of fat, and over 2 grams of fiber.</p>

<p><strong>Crab</strong><br />
Crab is a great source of vitamin B12 and immunity boosting zinc.  A 3 ounce serving of crab offers 84 calories, 1 gram of fat, and 0 fiber.

<p>What’s the newest fad diet? Does it work? Where can you go for a workout? Are there workouts that guarantee weight loss. These are just some of the questions that people keep asking these days.</p>
<p>But even if it is the fad these days, only a few actually adhere to a healthy lifestyle. Most people will still eat junk and will still fill their plates with fats and carbohydrates. Most would still rather sit on the couch and watch TV than work out at the gym or do some jogging. Old habits, after all, die hard. But starting a healthy lifestyle is not really as impossible as you think it is. In fact, with commitment and discipline, you can actually start walking the road to health and fitness. It will be hard but just imagine the rewards that you will get in return.</p>

People who live healthy will get to enjoy more of their lives, not only in terms of reaching 100 years old but in enjoying each moment of your life because you are illness-free. Often, people who eat right are more capable in performing their tasks at the office and are more able to get advancements in their careers. These guys do not take leaves of absence and when they do, they use it to have fun and unwind and not to recover from a bad illness.</p>
<h4>People who eat healthy and work out will also have great bodies and are more physically attractive.</h4>
<p>They are more likely to have better sex life and more romantic involvements, which in turn can make them more satisfied with life. These things are chained situations. Start in a positive light and you will end with a positive light too.</p>
<p>But despite the numerous benefits that you get from living a healthy lifestyle, why do people still stick to their old habits. One of the reasons is of course the unwillingness. After all, who would want to quit something that you enjoy doing or eating? Most people will not be willing to part ways with what they have been so used to doing. Just imagine saying goodbye to a comfort food or a hobby that makes you happy, will you do it?</p>
<p>Another reason is perhaps the difficulty. Most people attempt to change their ways for various reasons, health problems, relationship woes, even financial but most of the time they don’t see their plans through. They will try for a week and perhaps continue for a couple of weeks and then go back to their old habits after some time. They do not continue with their plans. One of the main reasons why is the lack of desire. To be successful in combating a bad habit, you need to really want it bad enough. You need to make sure that every temptation will not serve as temptation. Sometimes, will power is not enough for this. You also need the support of the people around you. This is why a lot of the programs right now that are created to help people change have a network of support system that will help their members.</p>
<p>So if you want to live a life of health and fitness, make the change now. There are a lot of benefits to it. You just need to fully commit to it and create your own support system.

<p>The vegetarian way of eating can be a very healthy style of eating. The rules still apply with healthy eating, although you should add variety, balance, and moderation.</p>
<h3>A vegetarian is someone who avoids all types of meat, whether it be hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, or even fish.</h3>
<p>Vegetarians are also sometimes classified by the type of food they are or aren&#8217;t willing to eat. For example, Lacto-ovo vegetarians will avoid animal flesh yet they will eat eggs and most dairy products.  A Vegan on the other hand, will avoid all food that has any trace of animal origin.</p>
<p>Because they don&#8217;t eat meet, vegetarians will often wonder how they&#8217;ll get enough protein.  Although you maynot realize it, the average American actually consumes more protein than he actually needs.  For the lacto-ovo vegetarian, dairy products are an excellent source of protein. Vegans on the other hand, get their protein from nuts, seeds, and soy products.</p>
<p>Along the lines of beans, there are several to choose from, including green or red lentils, peanuts, split peas, pinto, soy, kidney, and many more.   Some of them you are already familiar, such as kidney beans in chili, refried beans in Mexican dishes, red beans and rice, and pinto beans.  Although some beans taste good as they are, others are available with different flavors to help enhance their taste.  Nuts are hihg in protein, although they deliver a lot more fat than beans, which means you should enjoy them in moderation.  By having one cup of cooked beans, you&#8217;ll get the same amount of protein as eating two ounces of meat!</p>
<h3>The nutrients of concern for vegans, who avoid all types of animal food, are vitamin B12, calcium, and vitamin D.</h3>
<p>In the average North American diet, the primary source for B12 is animals.   To have an adequate intake of B12, vegans should reguarly consume vitamin B12 supplements or foods, which contain vitamin B12, such as soy products or milk.</p>
<p>For calcium, vegans can rely on orange juice or soy milk, as they are fortified with calcium.  Beans and leafy green vegetables will also contain some calcium as well.</p>
<p>Although all types of vegetarians rely on simple food groups, controlling your vitamins and calcium intake is something you should always do.  This is very important for eating healthy, as well as staying healthy. If you control what you eat, you&#8217;ll have many years of healthy eating ahead of you.

From the beginning of our birth, our body endures many changes. As we reach young adolescence, however the body experiences a series of senescence, or bodily changes abnormal, which the bodily functions start to decline. The body makes these changes, which most people will notice, the difference.</p>
<p>The musculoskeletal system is the first area that most diseases and illnesses start. For this reason once, a person turns 35 years of age regardless of their activities, athletic nature, etc. Still, one can reduce such disease by avoiding injuries to the muscles and joints. You can do this by avoiding accidents when possible, abuse, excessive alcohol, drugs, tobacco and so on. You can increase your health by exercising, eating healthy, socializing with positive people, and avoiding environmental toxins.</p>
<p>Visiting your doctor is essential to prevent disease as well. When you visit your doctor, he takes the time to study your physical status based on the family history you gave to him. The doctor will consider family history, including hereditary diseases. Your doctor will take family history into consideration as he studies diagnostics, cures, prevention, and treatment to help you avoid disease.</p>
<h4>As noted earlier, our body starts to refuse by age 35, which our sensory organs will also start to take a rain check.</h4>
<p>At this time, the eyes are affected since they cannot remain focused on objects up close. In medical terms, this condition is known as presbyopia. This is why you see many people in the world over the age 40 wearing glasses, contact lens, bifocals and so on. Still, you see the younger generation with these same needs, which is a clear sign that aging progression is starting earlier for some. This is a note signaling hereditary makeup, or lifestyle based on environment, etc.</p>
<p>Many people as they grow older lose a degree of hearing. In some instances, people go deaf after 40. This condition is called presbycusis, which is a sign of aging. Since this condition is common for those aging, it is natural to dislike things you once liked. For instance, if you enjoyed concerts when you were younger, and now find that you do not enjoy concerts at all, it is because your hearing has changed, which means that the high-pitch of hearing is affected, which slowly wore down the lower hearing tone. When hearing is impaired, it often seems like those talking are inarticulate. Since the hearing is tarnished, the person will hear speech differently. For instance, the use of K may sound distorted, which affects comprehension. In other words, a person older may here the CH in a word, such as Chute Up, and think that someone is telling them to shut-up. The CH is distorted. You can help those with hearing difficulties by learning sign and body languages to help them relate to you. These people can also benefit from hearing aids, or Assistive Listening Devices. The devices act as hearing aids, since it allows a person to block out noise in the background while focusing on the speaker.</p>
<p>We see natural healthy aging in this picture, yet in some instances aging signs are unnatural. For instance, if you incur lung cancer based on your history of smoking, or being around second-hand smoke, then the cause is unnatural.</p>
<h4>As a person grows older his or her, weight changes as well and more so for those with family history of obesity.</h4>
<p>The body fat starts to change up to 30% by the time a person reaches 40. The changes affect the body tremendously, since this is the start of wrinkles and other natural aging signs.

<h3>Lack of activities can prevent you from living healthy.</h3>
<p>When you do not enjoy activities, you may feel fatigue or find it difficult to sleep at night. When you awake in the morning, you may feel tired until you finally fall asleep. As we, age our body change and we have to make changes to accommodate our lives.</p>
<p>Having a good night sleep makes the mind think more clearly. A good night sleep also boosts your energy while controlling your weight. You can also make decisions with less stress. Sleeping well at night makes our immune system stronger to keep us healthier.  Researchers have proved that a good nights sleep is necessary for our health.  Researchers have found that lack of sleep reduces the growth hormones in our bodies, since it changes muscles to fat. Sleep overall is most important, yet it stands behind activities. To improve your health, try walking each day.</p>
<h4>Walking will help to loosen our muscles, reduces stress and depression along with anxiety.</h4>
<p>By reliving these things, it will help us to sleep for a longer and deeper period.  So, when we wake up in the morning we feel happier and more rested.</p>
<h4>When you exercise, you get a good night sleep, which promotes metabolism.</h4>
<p>Without the right amount of sleep, our bodies crave energy. Our body will release insulin or glucose into the bloodstream, which slows down metabolism. This action causes the body to gain weight, rather than control weight.</p>
<p>When a person feels exhausted, they will feel weak and repressed from enjoying activities. This leads to additional problems. Sleeping right balances out our bodies giving us, more energy leading to more activities that will satisfy our sleep needs.<br />
<strong><br />
What to avoid: </strong><br />
To rest proper and feel active you must reduce your intake of caffeine, nicotine, harmful chemicals, such as over-the-counter meds that keep you awake, alcohol and so on. The chemicals and substances will keep you awake. Try to avoid drinking anything after 8 p.m. in the evening. Nicotine should be avoid if possible, yet if you must smoke try to avoid smoking after 8 p.m.</p>
<p>Start a walking program in the morning to help wake you up, while boosting your energy. You will feel better since the joints will feel flexible enough to move freely. In addition, walking will help you burn fat and calories. You’ll notice a big change in how you feel the rest of the day.  Start out walking at a slow steady pace for as far as your comfortable.  Each day pick up the pace a bit and walk further. Just remember when walking that you want to work up to a steady brisk walk to make you sweat but not out of breath. Take a short walk before and after meals to calm your nerves, and burn calories too, it will give you energy, relieve that stress from the long day and help you sleep.</p>
<p>If you start a walking program for yourself, it is a lot more fun if you have someone to go with you. Talk to that neighbor you don’t know and maybe they’ll walk with you. Just think about it; you’ll be acquainted with someone new, talk about new things will relieve stress and get in you exercise as well. This might help that neighbor too who maybe hasn’t seen or talked to anyone in a couple of days and than they can sleep better at night.</p>
<p>After walking that brisk walk your doing be sure to cool down. When walking at a vigorous pace your heart rate will go up and it needs to be back to normal. Just walk a bit slow and relaxing until you’ve cooled down.</p>
<p>If you can’t go to sleep at night instead of getting up and turning on the TV try pacing around the house. Do some stretching and shake your arms and legs. Even walking around the house can relax you especially when everyone else is in bed and you can relax more.

As you may know, not fueling up with the right nutrients can affect how well your body performs and your overall fitness benefits. Even though healthy eating is important, there are myths thathinder your performance if you listen to them.</p>
<h3>Below, you&#8217;ll find some myth busters on healthy eating.</h3>
<p><strong>1.  Working out on an empty stomach.</strong><br />
If you hear a rumbling noise in your stomach, the rumbling is trying to tell you something. Without listening to them, you are forcing your body to run without any fuel. Before you exercise or do any physical activity, always eat a light snack such as an apple.</p>
<p><strong>2.  Relying on energy bars and drinks.</strong><br />
Although they are fine every once in a while, they don&#8217;t deliver the antioxidants you need to prevent cancer. Fruits and vegetables are your best bets,<br />
as they are loaded in vitamins, minerals, fluid, and fiber.</p>
<p><strong>3.  Skipping breakfast.</strong><br />
Skipping breakfast is never a good idea, as breakfast starts the day. Your body needs fuel as soon as possible, and without it, you&#8217;ll be hungry throughout the day.</p>
<p><strong>4.  Low carb diets.</strong><br />
Your body needs carbohydrates for your muscles and the storing of energy.<br />

5.  Eating what you want.</strong><br />
Eating healthy and exercising doesn&#8217;t give you an all access pass to eat anything you want. Everyone needs the same nutrients whether they exercise or not, as well as fruits and vegetables.</p>
<p><strong>6.  Not enough calories</strong><br />
Although losing weight involves calories, losing it too quickly is never safe.  What you should do, is aim for 1 &#8211; 2 pounds a week. Always make sure that you are getting enough calories to keep your body operating smoothly. If you start dropping weight too fast, eat a bit more food.</p>
<p><strong>7.  Skip soda and alcohol.</strong><br />
Water, milk, and juice is the best to drink for active people. You should drink often, and not require on thirst to be an indicator. By the time you get thirsty, your body is already running a bit too low.</p>
<h3>Changing how you eat is always a great step towards healthy eating and it will affect how your body performs.</h3>
<p>The healthier you eat, you better you&#8217;ll feel. No matter how old you may be, healthy eating is something you should strive for.  Once you give it a chance, you&#8217;ll see in no time at all just how much it can change your life &#8211; for the better.
